Lee Good evening, everyone, and welcome to the Mos Eisley Happy Hour.
Lee My name is Adam and I am joined by Chris Lover Alan.
Chris Hello.
Lee And Wesley Sith.
Adam How do you do?
Lee And, we, we're we don't we don't have Lee with us. He's We've lost him. Where did we lose him?
Adam He's somewhere around somewhere around around the walls around.
Chris He was fanning around outside the spaceship and I accidentally put the brakes on.
Lee Utterly unrelated to anything, but I did read a really annoying quote from the lead singer of Coldplay on the event of them having their new single debuted on the International Space Station and I thought I'd be out that fucking airlock in no suit.
Adam That is just like if you had the energy to get to the airlock.
Lee Yeah, exactly, you know, get out before it draws you.
Adam Before it draws you.
Chris Draws you.
Lee Draws you, that's the new word that it is.
Lee There's a lovely old term as well, there's a lovely old term for sort of a depressive moment or got the mobs, which I really like.
Lee Yeah, I've just got the mobs this afternoon, you know.
Lee Um, but and yes, but we do not have the mobs here for we are continuing our journey through the Star Wars. I'm going to call it the live-action universe at the moment because if one thing has become clear from watching the Mandalorian.
Lee Which indeed is what we're covering this evening, is that a lot of people have turned up who have previously been animated, who I have no idea of the level of their significance, so I should be looking forward to you gentlemen educating me on on certain aspects there.
Lee As I say, Lee is Lee's schedule has changed so he's not joining us on the on the Mos Eisley Happy Hour for the moment.
Lee Um, but please be aware that his presence is felt very much like a force ghost, he is a Ben Kenobi figure, guiding us to turn off our navigators and have another drink.
Lee So, yes, but here we are.
Lee Um, so, gentlemen, we're all good?
Adam Yeah.
Chris Yeah.
Lee Well, there you go, that's the banter section out of the way.
Adam This we need to get right into this.
Adam I mean, you know, there is there is way too much in here for us to cover in our our meager two-hour long.
Lee Yeah, there is there is a lot there is a lot to get across, so let's kick straight in.
Lee So, I didn't bother going down the whole route of because it's so recent and also I'm a bit lazy.
Lee I didn't go down the whole route of what else was released at the time, especially because pretty much fuck all, especially for the second series, which obviously came out at the the sort of second wave of the pandemic as we had it in the UK.
Lee Um a lot of other countries were as well.
Lee So yes, series one came out between November and December 2019, I didn't watch it.
Lee And uh then uh oh no, I watched I think I watched the first two, first three.
Lee Now I got up to the village, it must have been the first four, and then didn't watch it, and then the second series.
Adam That's what happened to me. I watched the first four episodes and then I was like, just never found the time.
Lee Yeah. And I and this is something that we've come we've sort of I've mentioned it on the show before, um, is the and obviously we're getting to that soon.
Lee But the the sort of general response around the Last Jedi, episode eight, um, did kind of put me off uh, well not put me off Star Wars but it was just like the there were sort of elements of fandom that were just really like, oh, for fuck sake.
Lee And it kind of put me off so, you know, and and as a result, I missed out on Solo, which I've subsequently watched and enjoyed because of the podcast, and now I found out that they have made me miss out on the Mandalorian, and frankly, I am prepared to hunt them to the ends of the galaxy.
Lee Because it is yeah, it's brilliant and what's to the point I had every single spoiler spoiled.
