About
A long time ago on a Podcast in Essex... It’s 2016 - The UK votes for Brexit; The USA votes for Donald J Trump; and a multitude of celebrities die (which was probably a wise decision on their part, considering how everything’s been going since then). Our Star Wars watch-through circles back to the main saga via ”Rogue One - A Star Wars Story”. So prepare yourself for a go on Saw Gerrera’s sticky Mind-Squid; keep an eye out for Chief Inspector Grobelaar; marvel at what an eventful few days it’s been for Dr Evazan and BumFace; and get ready for a glimpse of Admiral Radish’s Hammerhead. Watch (or more likely re-watch) to avoid spoilers, and join us. FEATURES STRONG LANGUAGE. APOLOGIES FOR ANY SOUND QUALITY ISSUES -CURRENT QUARANTINE MEASURES MEANT WE HAD TO RECORD THIS EPISODE REMOTELY.

Adam Good evening boys and girls, and welcome to the Mos Eisley Happy Hour.
Adam I am Adam and I am joined by Lee.
Lee Yay!
Adam I'm joined by Chris.
Chris Hello.
Adam And I am joined by Wesley.
Unknown Howdy.
Adam And there we have it. So people have identified themselves and remember that there will be both spoiling and swearers.
Lee But yeah, there will.
Adam spoiling and swearers or spoilers and swearing. There we go.
Adam Right, that's a good that's a good start, wasn't it?
Adam So, yes, and we are here to, um, we are here to continue our sideways journey around the cellars, we, um, we touch upon Rogue One, a Star Wars story. Um, and, uh, yeah, before we do, has anyone been watching, uh, Star Wars A Jason or, uh, similar, et cetera, in the, since we were last met?
Chris Oh.
Lee Silent. Oh, Lee has.
Adam Good.
Lee It's, it's kind of a no, but it's a yes, but it's something I did want to bring up.
Lee Because I've written it down, I was like, have I done anything science fiction? I was like, oh, I watched the mo, the Mars landing. But of course, that isn't science fiction, it's supposedly science fact.
Adam Yes. It's supposedly, it's science fact, yeah.
Lee Well, no, this is the point, supposedly.
Lee So, I don't know how many other people are like me and are very lazy when it comes to their news.
Lee Obviously, I knew the Perseverance, uh, moon lander was going to be happening.
Lee Um, very excited. Everybody was talking about, are you going to watch it live?
Lee So I was like, it's clearly going to have a camera attached to it. Yes, I'm going to watch that live. It's going to be like seeing the moon landing. But it wasn't like, did anybody else watch it?
Adam Absolutely.
Chris No, unfortunately not. Although, it sounds like it wasn't maybe worth it.
Lee No, it wasn't. So I thought, right, it's going, it's going up there, it's got loads of equipment attached to it. It's going to have a camera on it, we know it's got a camera on it. It will be beaming back live footage a bit like, you know, like I say, the moon landing in the 60s.
Lee What we actually got was 40 minutes of seeing 20 odd people staring at individual monitors in a blacked out room with a woman who would occasionally go, 180 kilometers from the surface.
Lee 170 kilometers from the surface.
Adam Have you not seen one before?
Chris You're, you're not the right kind of geek, Lee. This is not.
Adam In fairness to Lee, this sounds like watching someone's trip to the dentist.
Lee And four and five.
Lee Six is missing.
Lee We've only got the footage of the Apollo landing because a film camera was poked at the big screen in Mission Control.
Lee They were not, I've got a live feed, it actually is taken from a television, big television screen in Mission Control.
Adam Oh, so it's like how they used to record BBC programs live for, like how they basically used to stick camera in front of a telly while it was broadcasting.
Lee If it was something they wanted to keep. I don't know why they did it because there was a master feed that was going to that telly.
Lee But that's how everyone got it was a TV poked at a telly.
